"And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-12

GIDEON DIGNADICE - LEAD PASTOR

Pastor Gideon—affectionately known as PGidz—is a dedicated, energetic pastor with a deep passion for preaching God’s Word and shepherding God’s people. Originally from Pasadena, California, he has served in pastoral ministry for more than 15 years and holds a Master of Divinity degree from The Master’s University. He also brings broad field experience and previously served as one of the youngest seminary professors in the Philippines.

Throughout his ministry in California, Pastor Gideon led with vision, helped strengthen the church, and expanded its outreach. Following God’s call, he and his wife, Crimson, along with their five children, moved to Tucson to serve the UCF family and the surrounding community.

Pastor Gideon is committed to faithful teaching, building meaningful relationships, and leading a mission-minded church engaged in local, national, and global gospel work. His greatest desire is to see lives transformed by the grace of Jesus Christ and to help people discover the hope and purpose found in Him.

ED OTAZU - ASSOC. PASTOR / ELDER EDUCATION & DISCIPLESHIP

Ed Otazu is committed to teaching God’s Word, shepherding the church family, and helping believers grow in spiritual maturity.

Ed is a California native who has lived in Arizona for several years. He holds a Master of Theology degree from Gateway Seminary and studied Urban Ministries and Biblical Studies at The Urban Ministry Institute of Los Angeles. He also began studies in Christian Ministries at Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania, which helped spark his path toward seminary. With a heart for fostering transformation through God’s Word, he has served in various ministry roles over many years, including church planting, spiritual leadership, and administrative oversight.

His desire as a pastor is to lead a church that is missional, purposeful, and deeply rooted in the truth of Scripture, resulting in transformation and impacting its community with the hope of Christ.
